TV Stars in Beaconsfield to promote charity golf day

A PAIR of star actors will appear in Beaconsfield next week to promote a hospice charity golf day.
Warren Clarke, star of Dalziel and Pascoe and A Clockwork Orange will be joined by Minder and New Tricks actor Dennis Waterman at the Helen & Douglas House shop in Beaconsfield on Tuesday at 10.30am.
The duo are hosting a golf day at Bicester Golf Hotel and Spa next month in aid of the charity, which provides care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions.
Both actors live in Bucks, and chose to support the hospice through links with shop volunteer Jo Wilson.
Janet Carruzzo, community fundraiser said: ?We are delighted that this celebrity golf day is being held in aid of Helen & Douglas House.
?The money raised at this event will help us provide vital respite breaks, end of life care and post bereavement support for local families.?
At ?The Clarke Waterman Celebrity Golf Day? each team of three will be joined by one of Warren and Dennis?s celebrity guests on the par 71 course.
The event also features an evening with a two-course dinner, presentations to the winning teams and entertainment.
